HP printer problem

hi,

I'm running 10.6.6 on an iMac...
it's lost my HP2055d printer and can't find it again.
i've reinstalled the driver from the CD, restarted the computer, reset the printer and so on.
it just can't find it when i try to "Add printer"

Do you have the printer turned on and hooked up via a USB cable? If you do, try swapping the USB cable with another and also try moving the cable to a different port on the iMac.
