Hey Guys,
I am in the market for hiring a programmer for my website..I already have a designer but i have 3 questions....(Basically i need to be sure what kind of programmer to hire and what files i would need from my designer to make it all work)
1.) For javascript action coding as seen on: http://www.toasteddigital.com/ what exactly do i need from my designer in order to make all of this work? I've heard that I should provide the following: "A layered source file in either, Photoshop (.PSD) or Illustrator (.AI) format with the dynamic elements (like hovers) somehow made obvious to us. Our suggestion: two versions of the file, one with all dynamic elements (like rollovers) hidden, and a matching one with these elements visible. " since I am not a programmer I have no idea what this actually means... If i am understanding correctly all i need are two stationary images? That would make sense for simple tab actions, but if you look at the animation in the center of the site above...there is a truck driving in & out of the house etc. how would something like that be achievable with two stationary images?
2.) please take a look at this site: http://catrabbit.com.au/blog/ if you click from tab to tab notice how the only part that refreshes is the background. the header stays stationary. I like this because it looks way more professional than a site like http://www.kimkardashian.com which reloads every time you click on a tab...is this javascript coding?
Lastly,
3.) this is really cool and something i've never seen before.... http://www.alexandregomes.com.br/ how would i achieve something similar in my header graphic? is this javascript?
Any & all help would be appreciated thanks!
