New user to mac

hi people

new hear and new to mac

just purchased a macbook pro to use with my dj setup and need some help

can u tell me how i transfer all my tunes from my external drives and pc to the mac?? - also what program do i use to play mp3`s from my usb stic

i would be gratefull for all the help please

drag your itunes media folder onto external hard drive. go to the mac. file > import (in itunes) then click itunes music. or you can drag all the music to "automatically add to itunes." you can play mp3s from a memory stick in itunes.

You don't have to format to FAT32 as OSX can read NTFS file systems it just can't write to NTFS. But as robduckyworth says you can automatically add music to iTunes or you can just drag-and-drop into iTunes.
