Okay so I just got a macbook pro on Monday and I love it except for one thing, which I find odd so hopefully someone here can help me out.

There's a problem with the display that happens sporadically but I don't really know how to describe it, and since I'm new to mac I have no idea how to post images on here, so can someone be kind enough to tell me :Blushing: (it's probably really simple and I'll feel stupid afterwards but hey I have an excuse right)?

And then hopefully someone could tell me what's going on with the screen once they see a picture?

A million thanks in advance!

Thank you; I should have described my post better though.

My screen is fine now, but when it was messed up I took a picture and sent it to my email. So what I what to know is how do I post the picture from my email on to here?

Thank you.

You need to upload it to a image hosting service (photobucket, imageshack, etc) then post it on here like this:

[img*]www.thewebsitehere.com[*/img]
Without the *'s. Or better yet just post the web address for the image.

Looks like a bad GPU.

Do you still have a warranty on it? I would take it into an Apple store and have them look at it.

Yes, I got it three days ago.
Is it easily fixable?

Thank you!

I would call the nearest Apple store as they could give you more info. As far as an at home fix, I would not recommend as you might void the warranty or something might get messed up.

I would be at the Apple store yesterday with that. They will take care of you.

I would ring up your local Apple store and make a Genius Bar appointment. And take the Mac in to let them have a look at it. But I would take some photos of the issue too. Just in case they can't replicate the issue instore you have the photographic proof of the issue.

Update:
Okay so they ended up just giving me a new mbp. Good thing I didn't upload much and all my pictures are on photobucket.

Thanks again to everyone here for being so nice and helpful.
