It's not like they go bad. So if they don't sell them all they can always use them next year unless they make the new ones larger.

65mil screens seems unfathomable. I wonder, if this means we will see an even cheaper iPad with such a robust figure.

Well, they have got plenty of spare cash, and if they don't sell them all, then perhaps they just want to gobble up global supply to stop anybody else making a 9.7" tablet.
