Sony MP3 Walkman Vs Mac 5.1 ???

Hi

I recently purchased Sony's NWZ-B142 MP3 Walkman, and when trying to synch files from my Macbook 5.1. Leopard 10.5 nothing happens, it won't even allow me to recharge the battery. So I'm assuming either the WM is not compatible with my Mac? or i need to install the correct drivers.

Could anyone make any suggestions?

Unless you can find drivers that are for OS X, the Sony is not going to be able to be used to sync files or recharge from your Mac. Sony does not have a very good track record when it comes to providing drivers for the Mac. I have the same problem with both of my Sony cell phones and camera.
