Wireless internet keeps dropping off iMac (2010)

Hi there,

I have a serious, annoying issue. My internet keeps dropping off...
Sometimes it does after 10 minutes, sometimes after an hour, and often after 5 minutes. It is just for a few seconds but it's really disturbing.

It happens when I go on a site with many pictures, or where there are many things to load, or when I download something.

I have a wireless router from D-link. I already tried to change the channel, but nothing helps. Do you know a working solution?

Have a microwave oven nearby? Cordless phone base? These things can do exactly what you're describing. Particularly if they sit between the router and the computer.
