ABout Printers

I have a mac os9 and I need a Printer with a very good image Quality but at the same time a Printer wich doesn´t consume so much tint.
Can someone recommend me one?
I´ve been cheecking at EPsons website but may be someone have a special Tipp. Thanks!

epson is probably your best bet, canon is better, but I'm not sure how hard it will be to find a canon printer new that is os 9 compatible. I used to have an epson stylus photo 875 dcs, it was great, I'd recommend that if you can find it,
