Hello,

I'm wondering if there is any way to disable the volume control of the inputs of my audio interface.

I'm using a pre amp rigged to my sound card and I don't want any aditional digital boosting or cutting from the input volume control in the audio preferences.

Basically I want to bypass the volume slider so the audio I record is at the exact gain as it was when it went into my soundcard.

Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure if it's possible what your looking for, but have you looked in the "Audio MIDI Setup" application?
It's in your Application>Utilities folder.
