Could you please provide some more detail? Like what your trying to connect, what happens when you try connect etc.

I got this BLUETOOTH USB DEVICE (CORDLESS) to use for my desktop for easy transfer of files. But when i later inserted it into my laptop the inbuilt bluetooth goes totally off even if i take out the bluetooth usb device my inbuilt is still off. I have gone to system preferences but the setting tab is off can not change settings.. :|:|:
