what os are you running? when was the last time you repaired permissions? have you recently installed any new software or hardware? does this happens when isync opens?

I have installed firefox recently.

Hope this helps!

to repair permissions, open disk utility, it is located inside the utilities folder in the applications folder, after it says gathering info, select your hd from the list on the left, then to the right of the list towards the bottom, click the button 'repair disk permissions', it may take a while if you've never done this before, when its done, restart your mac.
have you installed many extensions for firefox? and do you use isync regularly, or does this happen when you try to use it?

The error message pops up everytime I log on. I sync quite often to two phones:

Sony ericsson T630 and a nokia 6600

so its probably set as a start up item if it opens at start up, have you tried not having it open at start up? also, after getting the error, are you able to open isync and sync your phones?

It seems to be syncing fine but its just the annoying error messages that constantly appear.

I will turn the service off but it will still probably get on my nerves.

try deleting isync's preferences, they're in:
mac hd>users>your username> library>preferences>delete file: com.apple.isync.plist.

I think the error is stemming from the .mac synchronisation. I have truned it off and the error disappeared with it.

I will try deleting the preferences.

Thanks again!

To fix the problem

:doctor:
I was having the same problem when syncing my address book on my mac. The issue has to do with data being corrupt or invalid.

If you look at the log that pops up after iSync runs it should give you the information it knows from the contact with the problem. A phone an emai, etc...

For me it was putting a 1-(206), it didn't like the "1-" before the 206
A second problem I was having was I inadvertantley typed a number with an extra number 206-555-4651-6. Obviously this is wrong. I corrected the data and the messages went away.

Try looking for any information you can search for in your address book to correct the error.

You will also see a similar log response if not all your devices are connected (iPod, Cell phones, etc...), you can update your iSync to manual delivery if they aren't always connected, but this will only stop it from happening when you log in or every hour (depending on preferences).
