Automator HELP!

I need to send an e-mail at a specific time. I've tried to write a workflow, but it doesn't seem to work. I have two problems:
1) There is no script for me to run the workflow at a specific date and time. I assume there is some script online to fix this. Any ideas?
2) In Automator, I selected "Compose New Message", typed a test one to myself and then selected "Send Outgoing Messages". However, the new message I wrote doesn't get into the outgoing mail box. How do I fix this?

Thanks for your help in advance.
