I have a FT232R USB to serial adapter I use on my Windows 7 laptop and a serial cable I connect to switches via putty or tera term. I recently purchased a MacBook Pro. I connected the FT232R to my MAC, it displays under Sys Profiler / Hardware / USB /USB bus. I am using the Terminal.app but do not see it listed under /dev. What am I missing or doing wrong? Trying to make switch away from WIN but must have serial access to switches.

Thank you,

Do not use one of these on my Mac, but you're still going to need to get the appropriate drivers, same as in Wrindows.
