Just got a PBG4 w/ a reformatted disk. I loaded OS 10.5.8. When trying to connect to the wireless network I get the error "...password your entered is not correct for AirPort network...". The password is definitely correct, I use it w/ my other Powerbook G4, as does my roomate. I have a linksys router.

The AirPort card on the problem PB is:
AirPort Extreme
Firmware V: 3.5f1 (3.50 37.p6)
System Profiler says that: "AirPort is currently turned off."

I don't know why Profiler says that AirPort is turned off, as it appears turned on when I click the airport icon on the top of the desktop, where I select the Linksys network, try to logon, then get the error.

My Network Settings are:
Network/Location=Automatic
Show:"AirPort"
By default, join: "Preferred Networks"
Network Name: "linksys"

When I try to connect to "linksys" through Networks I get the same PW error as when I try through either the Airport status bar.

Has anyone encountered/solved this issue?
