iPhone won't sync music to MacBook Pro

Hello!
I just got a MacBook Pro yesterday and today I tried syncing my iPhone 3G to it but without success. I have downloaded the newest software and etc. but my iTunes music library won't sync to my MacBook Pro, though it is on my iPhone. Help? Thanks in advance! :)

13 Inch Apple MacBook Pro; 2.40 GHZ, 4GB Ram, 250GB HDD
Not sure what you can do, but what version of Itunes are you using? Try upgrading to iTunes 10.
