External DVD compatabilty

Hi
My first post, as I am a convert from windows.
I am thinking of buying this, LiteOn 24x External Dual Layer DVD RW, for my Imac running Leopard OS.
The software supplied is for windows, but I am assured that the item is compatible for the Imac, what I need to know is what software I need to be able to use it on my Imac.
I hope some one can help me.

No software is required to run it, you can use Disc Utility to burn form it, just select it from the menu, or you can use Burn, a free program, or Toast if you want the ultimate.
