hello

Great forum, but why has it got captcha every time you post or search the forum.


It is really annoying and not really necessary. I visit lots of other large forums but none of them have captcha for REGISTERED members.

It's part of our spam prevention system. After a few posts, it will go away.

Sorry to inconvenience you. But I'm sure most of members would say that spammers are more annoying than having to deal with captchas for a few posts. ;)

I also think it is necessary, it helps preventing bots

It's hard to keep up with spam in a forum with such a huge volume of posts; I think you've got to "cut them some slack."

Nope, that's not our policy. And I think this thread has outlived its usefulness.
