Connecting hdd to airport extreme

I connected my hdd to my export extreme but my windows computer will not see the disk, am i missing something? I have yet to try my MBP to see the hdd. ANy help? I am trying to backup all my movies on my hdd using the auto back up feature in vista. Thank you.

Does anything see the disk? Does the airport extreme see the disk? You can check that in the airport utility.

thank you, yes airport sees the the disk fine.
