ULTRA slow internet on MBP since moving house

Hi, I've recently moved to my boyfriend's house and have connected my mbp to his wifi. On speedtest, it is showing it's download speed as 0.25Mb/s for my MBP. I done it just after that on his pc and his pc is showing as 4.43Mb/s!!!

What's going on? What is causing my slow download speed if I am connected to the same router as my bf ?????

It can be a number of different things. First thing I thought of was his PC being connected via ethernet. Since your connection is slower via wifi, try connecting your MBP via an ethernet to see if the speed increases. If so, then there might be some interference there. Let us know.
