Hello there,
So recently I bought an iPhone 2G from a seller on Gumtree.com (similar to Craigslist).
I was very happy with it, and it was in perfect working order however, I noticed that the seller had left some personal details on it so went to restore it. Before it was working fine on O2 and I realised it was JailBroken, I presumed that this wouldn't be a problem.
So I've restored it to the latest update but now it won't accept my O2 sim. I'm getting the 'Sim not compatible..' message. I understand that I will now need to Jailbreak it to get it to work but how exactly would I do this through the computer rather than the iPhone?
Sorry this is all a bit vague but any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Oliver
