iMac G5 1.8 Ghz 17"
iMac G5 2.0 Ghz 17"
PowerBook G4 12" ComboDrive
PowerBook G4 12" SuperDrive
PowerBook G4 15" ComboDrive
PowerBook G4 15" SuperDrive
iBook G4 12" ComboDrive
iBook G4 15" ComboDrive

Well, if you're serious about video editing, Powermac is the only option.

Yes, powermacs are better for video editing, but a display is important in order to take advantage of a computer's power.
SO, with your apparent budget of $2500, get the iMac. You don't have enough cash budgeted to get a Powermac with the configuration options you'd really want to get. A fully loaded iMac is the most computer for your money (and it has its own screen!)
:)

Good luck!
