I'm looking for a pointer in the right direction here...I don't mind reading a tutorial or two, if someone gives me an idea of what to look for!
I'm playing around with some ideas for a dashboard widget and I need an idea of how to integrate text inputted into a form field (html or java) on the preferences side (div) of my widget into a url which will be used to display an rss feed on the front side (div) of my widget.
E.g.
Form: ENTER NAME HERE: [............]
Result: URL for rss feed containg text from name field: http://www.exampleUrl.com/INSERT_NAME_FROM_ FIELD_HERE/rss
