So this last week I have started looking at getting a new wireless router. Ours is about 5 years old and extremely outdated.

I am looking to get a router that is 801.11 b/g/n and so far that is my only necessity. I am wondering what types of routers you all are using? Keeping in mind that I dont have an endless amount of money :)

Thanks!!

Personally I've always like Apple's Airport base stations, I especially like the dual radio of the newest model which lets me keep my N devices separate from the rest so it doesn't slow them down.

If that's too much, probably can't go wrong with a Linksys.

Netgear, at least in my experience and from people I know, tend to be a little flaky.

I agree with schweb, I have never had a good experience with Netgear and so avoid them like the plague.

I would personally recommend the D-Link DIR-655. It's a fantastic router that's very affordable. I bought two, one for the family and one for myself. :)

+1 for the D-Link DIR-655. And I agree about Netgear. I have an almost new one sitting on the shelf - not totally useless, but almost.

Regards.
