hi guys...

im desperate for help!! im in australia and its 2330hrs...i just updated itunes and then the 4.0 update....

i then connected my iphone and after almost an hour of updating it said it was shutting my phone down and would restore it...

however it ended up giving me an error message..one of many that start with -402653165, sometimes ending in 180 or 175 or o75....

it keeps trying over and over to restore it..ive done it about 15-20 times now... and i dont know what to do????? im guesing if i disconnect my phone im stuffed?????? i obvouisly have all my music in itunes but i dont have anything else backed up...mostly bcos i never really knew how to do it...STUPID i know... now im about to pay for it.

i could seriously start crying right about now...l have email addresses and phone numbers for friends overseas that i will struggle to ever find again...

im soooooo upset. and i dont know what to do??? just disconnect or what???

if anyone can help......

If you've already tried 15-20 times already, it looks like simply disconnecting and trying again my be your only option right now. You say you haven't backed your old i-Phone's data up to you computer?

yeah thats what im thinking too.

no all i have is my music on itunes. my own fault i know...but i could never quite understand how to get my phone numbers etc on there as well...i know that sounds dumb but i never bothered much about it.

im just so angry bcos its the update that has caused this.....ive had my phone for almost 2 years and NEVER had a problem with it. so either the itunes update or the 4.0 update has done this...

thanks anyway
