RUMOR: Pegatron lands Apple order for CDMA iPhone units, to ship in Q410 (MacDailyNews)

Monica Chen and Joseph Tsai report for DigiTimes that Pegatron Technology has landed CDMA iPhone orders from Apple Inc.

"Pegatron will start shipping a CDMA version of the iPhone 4 to Apple in the fourth quarter and is currently using its plants in Shanghai, China to produce the products, the sources noted," Chen and Tsai report. "The company is also working on gaining orders for MacBooks and iPads from Apple, added the sources."

Yeah yeah, it's still a rumor, but there are a LOT of unrelated rumors that keep cropping up that all point to this same timeframe for a CDMA iPhone release. It's either one heck of a conspiracy, or the real deal.

No, they've been predicting a CDMS phone with "confirmed suppliers" and even screenshots of prototypes just about every quarter since 2007 :p
