dock-dock cable?

Hi

Am looking for something but I have a feeling it probably doesn't exist! I have a 3GS which I keep in the 'Jacques Cousteau' version of an Otterbox ('cos I'm so clumsy and 2 years is a long time...). Every time I want to attach it to my speaker dock, I have to take the **** thing out of its 3 part case. Ideally I'd like a cable that has a dock end at both ends. Anyone out there seen one?

(and before someone tells me to get a new case, I'm sticking with the fab one I've got!)

Have not seen one.

Would suggest you simply unplug the cable from the dock and plug the cable into the phone instead of removing the case.

You'd technically need a male-to-female dock cable so that you can keep the phone it's case and connect it to the speakers and I haven't seen anything like this...especially the female (the connector in the iPhone) connector..

Ooh, nice... hadn't found those - couple coming my way now.

That one doesn't fit the op's otterbox case, but they have a link for one there that does.

Glad I could help . I had them make me a custom 8 footer for my bedroom , It allows me to have it hooked to the speaker dock on my nightstand and still answer the phone / text /set alarm etc

Man..I hate being wrong on things..I should just assume that anything anyone wants is available somewhere..just a matter of finding the place..

LOL I know exactly what you mean ! I found them while trying to build my own and had already destroyed a cheap dock getting the female adapter out of it !
