Well, I think my iBook finally died on me. I kept getting kernal panics, I tried to reboot, now when I turn it back on it. It makes 3 beeping sounds and the sleep light blinks.

I have no idea what's wrong with it. I'm thinking about taking it apart and pulling dimms to see if there could be a corrupt memory stick, not sure though.

Do any of you know what this means?

And also, do you know where I can find a diagram to help show me how to take apart the ibook g3 600 mhz snow?

1 beep = no RAM installed
2 beeps = incompatible RAM types
3 beeps = no good banks
4 beeps = no good boot images in the boot ROM (and/or bad sys config block)
5 beeps = processor is not usable

No good banks? Would that mean faulty memory banks?
Try taking out any additional RAM you have in there...
