Iphone 3G Backlight issue

Hi guys!

Today i was playing with my Iphone 3g and the backlight just dimmed right down.
I can only see it in bright sunlight.

I tried changing the brightness setting but there is still no change,

Is it something that I can fix?

Please Help.

Restore Iphone to the factory settings and try again if same thing occurs then might be a flashing problem software sometimes makes corruption.

i am also experiencing the same problem of back light since last 3weeks, i have tried to reset the phone to its factory defaults but the problem isn't fixed i think there is some hardware problem... any ideas???
