Connectivity Issues

I'm having problems getting a connection to our wireless network here at home. I get a good strong signal and an IP address but when I try to view any web pages I get a "host cannot be found error." I've reset the cable modem (comcast), reset the router (linksys), and even plugged the ethernet cable directly from the cable modem to my ibook. Funny thing is, I can connect to all the other open wireless networks in our neighborhood (although all the signals are weak so using them isn't a good option for me). The other two computers in the house have no problems connecting. One is hard wired and the other is wireless. This is really starting to frustrate me.

I have a 900Mhz ibook, OSX 10.2.8.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
