You need to become an "established' member and only the Mods know what criteria needs to be met to become one..

You can always try other places, Craigslist for example..might get hits from people actually close to you..

As noted in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum stickies, that forum is only available to well-established community members.

Regardless, if you think about it, who would want to shell out a large sum of money to someone who is a relative unknown?

Agreed with the above. It's why ebay has a seller satisfaction rating. And it's why craigslist even exists. The buyer and seller need enough trust en each other to know they are not just trying to rip each other off before any sale can take place.

Yes it makes a lot of sense. I just joined today but I realize that it takes some time to build trust, so I will be patient. But thanks to let us know how it works.
