I've noticed that when I don't log into Mac Forums and view "Todays Posts", there are 5 pages of posts to view. When I do log in and view "Get New", it only shows 1 page only to view. :o
This happens while using Windows Explorer on my PC and Safari on my Mac.
I don't know.. maybe it's just me. :D Cheers!!!

I have had this happen occasionally on my iMac running Snow Leopard, but never on my Powerbook with plain old Leopard.
It only started happening after I installed SL too, so I am thinking it's a weird little bug in that.
It's not done it since I updated to 10.6.3 though.

I believe it's intentional. When you are logged in, the forum remembers where you left off on your last session logged out or timed out, then it'll start to keep track of the threads that would have not been read. So if you log in and use mark as read, then log into another computer, you should see only new posts submitted after marked posts as read link was clicked.

When you are logged out, it has no cookies or database to go by, so I'll just grab posts for the day.

Hope that helps. :P
