I use two printers, a Canon IP4200 and a HP PSC1300. Recently both started acting up at the same time; The Canon is printing, but without using any of the output settings specified in the Print dialog box (i.e. printing is black and white, light and under-sized); The HP does not connect - "Cannot find TWAIN source".

I've tried reloading the HP print driver from the disc and the Canon driver using the automated process in the Mac OS.

Suggestion?

How about going to the Canon and HP site and downloading the latest software for each printer. You are on 10.4.11 are u? If not download and install Combo update first.
