And you can click on the link there to get details if you want to watch the Apple quarterly confrence call live. Sure these calls are as exciting as watching paint dry. But some fanboys watch them.

If you own shares of a company, or are thinking of owning shares, those conference calls are pretty important.

There was a time just a few years ago when the only people who got to participate in those conference calls were the stock analysts. Then someone said "Hey, that's not fair. You can't give this corporate information to a select group of people. It must go out to anyone who wants it."

So, now the law requires that any information that a public company releases must go out to everyone at the same time.

Talk about leveling the playing field.
