Hello to one and all,
First of all, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong category; it seemed apt when I was browsing through.
I have an iMac (2008 model) and a 50 Hz widescreen CRT tv (PAL), and I've been trying to connect them using a mini DVI to VGA cable connected to a VGA to SCART cable, so far with no success.
The tv displays a signal (the kind of display you get when you input the wrong Hz - I think I first saw it with something on the N64), but I can't find anything in the plethora of resolutions available in the list that will work.
After buying the cables (stupid, I know) I did a little more research to find that if I'd gone for S-video I may have been alright.
Is there any way I can get this to work with the cables I have? Software or such?
Thanks very much.
Sam
