hi there
My external HD is filled and I just wanted to know the best way to delete all the info and just restart saving files. I have files saved on there that I won't need and just wanted to do some streamlining

Are u talking about formatting the hard drive?

If so use disk utility and do a zero count and choose apply.

Should wipe it pretty cleanly for you

:)
