IE5 problem

neye: I have a friend that has a MAC 8.6 laptop iBook that is about 6 years old. He is having problems with Internet Explorer 5 Browser and need help. He says it is not letting him do what he needs to do. any ideas????

What is he trying to do? There are no more updates for IE on Mac, so if it is a certain site(s) that aren't working, your friend is most likely out of luck. I would suggest trying an older version of Netscape and see if that does the trick (whatever that may be). Outside of trying another browser, there probably isn't much more that can be done except a system upgrade. OS 8.6 is really long in the tooth and trying to get modern/current applications or software etc. to run on it is a lost cause, IMO.

Sry.. the problem is that it alloes him to receive emails but not attachments to the emails. also will NOT ley him load windows messenger
