With OS4, will AIM apps work in the background?

This was one of my main problems with the iPhone. Many of my friends still use AIM. If I wanted to surf the web, or play a game with OS4, I could in theory have both apps running, and just be able to see when people IM me?

Thoughts on this?

Thanks in advance!:Smirk:

Thats how I took it from the live feed. They ( TUAW ) even mentioned it during the web blog .

Agreed with Clay. That is the way I understood it also. Should work.

I'm on the OS4.0 and i can say that it's not working for the moment.

We all have to wait for an app update in order to be functionnal.
But the function and API's are functionnal in the OS. O:)
