I'm going to be taking a very long car trip, and I was wondering about suggestions people might have for music to listen to while I drive. I like just about all music but Rap. My main preference is 70s rock, but other stuff is very much exceptable. Potential songs could be of different genres, be it "Convoy" to "Cotton Eye Joe" to "Brown Eyed Girl" to "Low Rider" to "Red Red Wine" to "I like to Move it" or to "We Will Rock You." (those are the songs I've come up with so far) I want music I can kinda jam too and maybe sing along to. Names of the songs and the bands that you like the version of (ie. Low Rider-Kool and the Gang) is preffered over just saying the band name (ie. The Beatles).

Thanks!

I have alot more U2, not as much as i want. I was trying to be diverse without a huge list! As for the Jesse McCartney, It was just catchy, we all have those songs that we are not that proud of. Thanks for the compliment!

Something like Audioslave is perfect for me. Especially the latter part of the first album, or the new song, 'Be Yourself'. It's probably good driving music because he mostly sings about cars!

If you want some great driving music you gotta check out a Japanese band by the name of "Move". Here are some songs you want to get a hold of "Painless Pain", "Gamble Rumble", and "Around the World"

Not a big fan, but Joe Satriani should be fun for driving. Of course, I'd mention the new Iron Maiden ("Dance of Death") and some Gamma Ray, older albums, try "Somewhere Out In Space".

I think you've got waaayy to many suggestions already, though ;)
