Spending a few grand to understand the competetion is certainly worthwile. I doubt he's a complete switcher, but I bet he uses a mac now and then.

I think i remember microsoft giving a couple hundred million to apple a few years back. isn't that true? like maybe they gott a percentage stake or something.
I'm sure will uses an apple now and then. his whole family probably does.

if you had any history behind you, you would remember that in the early years, apple nearly crushed mircosoft because they basically infringed on every idea and copywrite apple owned.. but microsoft was the lil guy then.

I don't believe that gates owns any part of Apple. I am aware of the millions of dollars that Apple received from M$. But I don't remember any of the details. Will have to look it up.

They were in a partnership for 7 years.. but its been over for a while now.

actually.. M$ brought them out of a bad sitEEation... but I can see why apple would keep its best ideas down until M$ had its paws out.
