Hi. Im wondering if someone could help me. I have my macbook partitioned for mac osx and windows xp. However i wish to use linux, albeit for minor things occasionally. I have managed to et linux to run as a virtual machine, but i wish to install it full to my usb hard drive and run it from there.
I have tried many different things, and cannot seem to get my mac to boot from the harddrive.
What i am hoping for is for a step by step guide of installing linux to my harddrive, from the downloaded iso.
Thanks in advance
Alex

Have a look at Installation of Ubuntu Karmic Koala for a MacBook Pro 3,1 on a USB stick | Linux on your Apple Mac | iLinux (http://mac.linux.be/content/installation-ubuntu-karmic-koala-macbook-pro-31-usb-stick)
