Hello, This is my first post and my first official Mac. I got my MacBook as a graduation present and it has been working amazingly. (Suck it PCs!) But recently I've been having problems with my firefox, it has slowed down considerably and it no longer puts saved passwords into the field. (It use to so I know it can!)

I have Firefox 3.0.11

And sorry if this isn't the right forum to be asking this >.>

The first thing I'd do is update to FF 3.5.5 or at least 3.0.15 if you're running an older version of OS X.

I assume you havea new MacBook, most likely with Snow Leopard on it - you're running a way old version of FireFox - although the problem could be many things (first thought would be something got messed up with your plist file for it, next thought would be something is corrupted in one of the firefox related files in application support, next thought would be some settings with regard to stored passwords got turned off, etc.), I'd first suggest updating to a more recent version of FF (ie: 3.5.5 I think is the current version).

I only use FF for a few websites, so I don't know much about what is safe to erase/let it rebuild (although the plist file for firefox should be safe to erase to let it rebuild it).

If updating doesn't fix the problem, hopefully someone with more FF experience can comment on your issues...
