Internet sharing

Hi

Why is it that Mac OS X does not understand that I want to share my internet through airport on my G5 to my iBook, and use the firewall on the G5 at the same time?

If I have firewall on the internet sharing will not work and if I have firewall off it works fine, I'd think that it should work fine or at least have a tick option in the firewall for allowing this.

Anyone have any ideas?

Its most likely a configuration in your firewall, just look in the firewall for an option that could control it or look at the firewalls help for more info on it.
