Ok - so where you gonna be Friday at 6PM

As I'm new to all this - and the apple store is in a large mall 3 miles away - I'll show up to watch the show (I've got Tiger coming via mail since I just bought a mini) ---- hear they're giving away some stuff --- I'll see if I can extend my loosing streak

ill be sitting in front of this computer .. looking at mac-forums and hmm . other apple/mac related sites , wishing i had the money and gas for tiger haha , the nearest mac store to me is in Indianapolis it's about 1 hour and 45 min to 2 hours away from where i live . it kinda sticks because if it were closer i would live in that place ,

I wont be at an applestore, no offense but most of the apple nutz are just as crazy as pc nutz. I like to avoid most those people, to much D&Dness for me.

Eating, at a resturant conveniently close to the local Apple store. When I am done I am going to stop by just to figure out how to try to win that PB and iPod they are giving away. I don't play on purchasing Tiger or hanging out there.

I agree with that...some of the really obsessive ones just really creep me out.

trying selling them ... i had people hang around and want to spend hours just talking about how much they love them, or their friend of a friend at Apple who told them about this top secret new Mac and how I should be impressed by their knowledge, and blah blah... i feel sorry for the people at the Genius Bar. I can only imagine how many people go in there just to try and stump them to prove their self worth.

i will prolly swing by the one and only apple store that just opened on the 2nd after the nuts have had all weekend to mob the store. although i dont think mac is all that big here in the back woods of south georgia

I may be there, I'm not sure that I'll have the money, though even if I do, I think I'd like to wait at least a few weeks so they can go to like 10.4.1, and I'll know its solid by talking to others. and as far as the apple nuts, I agree, I LOVE macs, you know this, but I don't do the crazy stuff I've seen others do.:mac:

since the apple store is literally only 10mins away from my work i'm going to stop by after i get out and see if there really will be a mass of freaks waiting in line to get in.

i called the store and the girl just said it will be nuts and there will be a line to get in when they re-open at 6pm. she said its probably best to either get to the mall really early and wait or just come back at around 10PM but not at 11PM as the second wave of people usually come for the last hour!?!?!?!?!??!

does that mean people with nothing to do on a friday night are gonna show up an hour before they close? hahahaha. i would think that would be the best time to go.

anyway i just can not see the Apple store with a crowd of people waiting outside, i should take pics or video but i doubt they will let me. Anyone else have any pics of the last "party" when Panther was released?

I'll be at the Wallace Arms Scottish Pub in downtown riverfront Antioch enjoying a Guiness or two or six. Well, that will be later in the evening. At 6pm I will be at my girlfriend's brother's house eating Monte Cristo sandwiches celebrating her 23rd birthday. Mmmmmmmmm Monte Cristo Sanwhich...
