Just curious, will i be able to get Quicktime 7 as a stand-alone? If so how much would it be? I do not want to upgrade to Tiger but would like to be able to use QT7.

Actually, Apple is making a QT 7 Free version for Panther and Tiger. They are also making Pro versions for each OS. Fear not.

If you want to view movies in full screen you need to upgrade to pro.
Although watching a movie zoom in and out of full-view is reason enough to buy it.
