i was searching for kool apps and things for when i received my ordered macbook this week and i came along this dropbox i wanted to see what everyone thought about it either in addition to mobile me or replacing it.

I use Dropbox on my Mac and on each of my VMs to keep files in sync and it works like a charm. It's fast and incredibly easy to use. Do you have more than one machine?

Note though that it doesn't do 80% of what MobileMe does. It's just for syncing files. Have you watched the video on their website?

I use dropbox to synchronize files between on my Linux/Mac machines at home and my Windows machine at work..so being cross-platform is a great thing.

i have a MBP on the way from apple, i ordered and waiting on t quad core Imac, and i have a iphone.. it works on phones too right how does that work.

The Dropbox app just lets you view files and has the ability to save files for offline viewing (this is called "favourites").
