Is there a way to download images from your digital camera to a folder instead of iPhoto. Sometimes I want to bypass iPhoto and place them in a folder.

Does anyone know a way to do this? My camera is a Canon PowerShot A95 and my computer is a MacBook Pro, model #5.2.

The easiest way withh probably be with a card reader. It's going to be faster too. Pull the memory card from the camera, put it in the reader, and plug it into the computer. It will show up as just another folder and you can transfer photos like you would with any file.

You have a program called Image Capture in your Applications folder. That will do exactly what you need.
