I getting a new MBP and selling my old one with a clean hard drive and Snow Leopard but so far, I'm just making a mess. At this point the partition is still there and I'm back to a Tiger OS and Bootcamp is still there (sigh). I did back up everything first, of course.

How do I do this?

Thanks

Boot the machine with your Snow Leopard DVD. Choose Utilities, Disk Utilities from the top menu. Highlight the drive on the right side, (lower entry, the one with the capacity). Select the partition option. Delete all partitions. When there is just one partition (the entire drive), select erase and format. If you wish, you can select the secure erase option. That should do it.

Install OS X and it should be ready to sell.

Regards.
