First timer, iPhoto blank frames?

Hello, I'm Vic and this is my first time here.

I did a brief search (iPhoto blank frames) without success.

After replacing a failed hard drive in my PowerMac 7,3 G5 2X2.0 GHz I migrated my backup from the Time Machine/Capsule. Everything made the migration with one exception. In iPhoto (iLife) the library and albums are now displayed with empty dashed frames. Click on the frame and the appropriate photo appears. Single photo's that have been edited will appear and remain visible in the library.

I reloaded iLife with no success.

Try deleting the Library/Preferences/com.apple.iLife.plist file then reboot and restart iPhoto. The plist file gets rebuilt automatically. It may be a corrupted preference that was carried over when you reinstalled iPhoto.
