Increasing Bandwidth

Does anyone have any tips to improve my macbooks bandwidth. I am using Comcast highspeed internet and according to speedtest.net my download speed is 6.42 mb/s

Unfortunately, on our wireless internet it is dreadfully slow when buffering shows from Hulu.

What is your Internet plan? Is that the speed you get when connecting directly to the modem or with a router in between? If there is a router, are you doing the test wirelessly or while directly connected to the router? What is the make and model of your router? How big is your residence? Where is the router located?

You gotta give us more information before we can properly diagnose your problem and provide a viable solution.
