Hi,
Last week I installed Windows 7 x64 onto my (early 2008) MacBook Pro with no problems at all - everything went good However, when I tried to install Windows 7 x64 onto my (late 2007) iMac and (late 2006) MacBook it refuses to load Windows and instead I get the message "1 2 Select CD-Rom Boot Type"
I find it strange how windows 7 x64 installed on my (early 2008) MacBook Pro yet it has has problems installing on my on my other Macs which were built before 2008. All my Macs are Core2Duo so there should be no problems installing a 64bit OS on them yet I get problems on my Pre 2008 Macs.
Is it true that Macs built before 2008 aren't compatible with 64bit OS install discs?
Please advise
